Automated partial discharge testing system designed for accurate, noise-sensitive insulation validation in controlled environments.
System Description
Partial discharge testing is used to detect voids or imperfections in electrical insulation that can lead to overheating and eventual failure under normal operating conditions. Due to the sensitivity of the signals being measured, this type of testing requires a controlled environment with minimal electrical and RF interference.
Vidac Solutions designs and builds fully automated partial discharge test systems engineered to deliver accurate, repeatable results in noise-sensitive environments. Each system incorporates a corona-free, electrically shielded test chamber with proper isolation to ensure measurement integrity.
Complete system design includes the mechanical enclosure, product handling fixtures, high-voltage buswork, and integrated safety systems. Vidac also provides full electrical design, PLC programming, and LabVIEW-based test control and data acquisition.
