The History of Vidac Solutions
Vidac Solutions has grown from a technical service group into a trusted systems integrator, delivering reliable test and control solutions backed by decades of engineering experience.
1999
The Beginning
Vidac’s journey began as the Technical Services Group (TSG), a two-person engineering team operating from a small office in Fenton, Missouri. From day one, the focus was simple: solve difficult technical challenges with practical engineering solutions.
2000
A New Name, A Bigger Vision
Following an employee naming contest, TSG officially became Vidac Solutions—Visual Integration, Data Acquisition & Control Solutions. The company moved into its first dedicated facility and began designing custom test equipment for manufacturers throughout the region.
2001
Building the Engineering Team
As demand for custom testing solutions accelerated, Vidac expanded its engineering staff and broadened its capabilities into electrical testing, motor testing, automation, and control systems. Several of those early team members remain with the company today.
2005
From Refurbishment to Innovation
After years of refurbishing environmental chambers, Vidac designed and built its first NEMA thermostat test chamber from the ground up—marking a major milestone in the company’s evolution as an equipment manufacturer.
2007–2008
Entering the Dry Gas Seal Market
Vidac was awarded its first Dry Gas Seal (DGS) tester upgrade project in 2007. Just one year later, the company designed and built its first complete DGS testing system—a machine that remains in service today and launched what would become one of Vidac’s core specialties.
2008
Growing to Meet Demand
2009–2024
Expanding Capabilities Worldwide
Over the next decade and a half, Vidac continued to push boundaries in custom testing and automation. The company delivered Dry Gas Seal Testers, NEMA Chambers, electrical test systems, automation equipment, and specialty machinery to customers across the United States and around the world.
2024
Proven Performance
By 2024, Vidac had successfully delivered 11 NEMA chambers, 6 Dry Gas Seal Testers, and countless custom-engineered systems. Despite remaining a small team, the company had established a reputation for tackling projects others considered too complex.
April 2025
New Leadership, Same Commitment
Aaron Early joined Vidac Solutions as President and majority owner, partnering with founder Mike Griese to lead the next chapter of growth while preserving the engineering culture and customer-first approach that built the company.
August 2025
Investing in the Future
To support continued growth, Vidac expanded its headquarters with additional office, laboratory, and production space—adding approximately 60% more shop capacity and creating room for future innovation.
Today & Beyond
Engineering the Next Generation
With expanded facilities, new leadership, and a growing global customer base, Vidac continues to invest in advanced testing, automation, and system integration solutions while staying true to the hands-on engineering approach that has defined the company since 1999.
