System Description
This system is engineered to evaluate dry gas compressor seals and supports fully automated API 692 testing, enabling extended, multi-hour test cycles without operator intervention. Precise control of separation and ramp pressures is maintained throughout operation, allowing a single operator to efficiently manage multiple test systems simultaneously.
Designed for advanced, high-speed applications, this system extends testing capabilities to extreme rotational speeds while maintaining accuracy, stability, and repeatability.
This tester features dual-output shafts to accommodate a wide range of operating speeds and breakaway torque requirements. The main drive motor delivers full torque at low speeds, while an integrated servo-driven slow-roll system enables life cycle testing from 0.05 RPM to 100 RPM, simulating real-world compressor conditions.
All auxiliary systems—including oil pressure, temperature control, and safety functions—are fully integrated and automatically managed for both the test system and the seal under evaluation.
